As a metal oxide film capacitor, the MPX104K305E provides a high precision, long life, and low temperature coefficient of capacitance capacitance. The superior heat resistance of the film construction enables reliable operation and low temperature coefficient of capacitance, while the double layer film construction ensures ultra-Low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance). The working principle of the MPX104K305E is based on the electrostatic force that is created between the conductive body of the capacitor electrodes, which consists of a layer of metal atoms and a layer of resin dielectric material. This causes an electric field that allows electrons to move from one electrode to the other.
