The MR16 10W Board is an evaluation board designed to enable the user to efficiently test and evaluate the thermal, electrical and optical performance of a single LED device with a rated power of 10W. The MR16 10W Board has a wide range of applications in the automotive, industrial and other lighting fields. It is especially suitable for source testing and analysis of multiple LED chips.
The evaluation board is designed according to the size and heat dissipation requirements of 10W MR16 LEDs. The board has two flight and power supply types, one for the commercial power supply type, and the other for expert power supply type. The DC flight power supply is provided with short-circuit and open-circuit protection functions. In addition, it is also equipped with temperature and current sensing circuits, which can accurately detect and monitor the forward voltage, forward current and maximum temperature of the LEDs, and determine whether the LEDs are working well. The board is also equipped with a cooling solution that maximizes heat dissipation and ensures a safe operating environment for the LEDs.
The MR16 10W Board supports a wide range of LED technologies such as ceramic, cup, and filament. These LEDs are usually placed in die-attached aluminum alloy base plates, which improves their luminous flux. Furthermore, the board design incorporates a special driver stage to extend the lifespan of the LEDs, by controlling the quality of the forward current. Through the temperature sensing circuit, the current of the LED can be adjusted according to the working temperature to prevent the failure caused by abnormal temperature. The power fail protection circuit will automatically cut off the current when the power fails, so that the circuit can work in a safe state.
The MR16 10W Board also includes debugging an integration tests for the user, enabling them to understand the working principle of the board in depths. This allows them to evaluate the performance of a single 10W LED, focusing on its electrical, thermal, and optical characteristics.
