MS3108R18-13S are multi purpose connectors designed primarily for aircraft use but also suitable for other high performance applications such as avionics, missiles, communications, ground support and medical equipment. This broadly diverse connector is one of the most commonly used sub-miniature connectors in many industrial and commercial environments, offering reliable performance in a wide range of application areas.The MS3108R18-13S is based on a design that dates back to the early 1960’s. The MS3108R18-13S is designed to fit military or commercial characteristics and is often referred to as a 12-Position MS3108 / MS3109 Plug.The MS3108R18-13S can mate with any MS3109R16-13S plug or any type J connector plug. The MS3108R18-13S features a 12-position guide buoyant design with removable shells and a crimp receptacle. The MS3108R18-13S has a shrouded male version available that provides improved shielding. The contact arrangement is a standard four-row plus one “foul” center.The MS3108R18-13S can be used for power distribution, signal transmission, control, and grounding.
