It is specifically designed for use in arms reach of the operator and can typically cover an area of up to 1800 mm. The array of infrared sensors consists of 9 beams in two (2) channels of 4.5 beams each. This configuration provides a convenient and reliable area of protection from personnel and danger.The safety light curtain is equipped with an inhibitor, which is connected to the control circuit. The inhibitor is an electronic switch that is activated when the light curtains are not in operation. The inhibitor will immediately cut off power to the control circuit, allowing the machine to reset itself and start again from a safe position. This ensures that the machine will not come into operation when personnel are in the hazardous area.For added safety, the MSF4800B-14-1800 is also equipped with two (2) independent alarm outputs. When the curtain is in operation, the alarm output will activate in two (2) ways, one in case of an undesired intrusion and the other in the event of a failure in any of the photoelectric devices.
