Depending on the desired application, custom lengths can be ordered up to 15 m (49 ft) without connecting additional units.The reflex chamber is a red tinted Plexiglas enclosure that provides an unobstructed path between the light emitter unit and the light detect unit. In order to ensure reliable operation, the reflex chamber is designed to reduce the influence of ambient light and is filled with anti-UV fogging agent for additional protection against sunlight and UV rays. The reflex chamber also acts as a mechanical barrier between the light curtain and the target.The output module is a group of 4 opto-isolated relays that are used to trigger the external stop device or the machine controls when an interruption is detected. The controller is the user-interface for controlling the system, and it is used to configure, monitor and troubleshoot the light curtain.
