MT9P031I12STC-TP is a 1/2.3-inch 12 megapixel high-resolution CMOS digital image sensor and Auto Focus Focus To Lens (AF) imaging system. It integrates high-class digital imaging functions with a powerful ISP core. This solution supports fully automatic video and image recording functions, and the capture resolution supports up to 4032X3024. The interfaces available include parallel 10/12 bit RAW data, MIPI / DVP two-way / HD four-way image transmission. The device is used in camera systems with 2-12 megapixel resolution, and effectively increases camera efficiency.

Working principle
The imaging function of MT9P031I12STC-TP is based on the principle of adjustable optical imaging and light-sensitive devices. Besides, MT9P031I12STC-TP also supports many features to enhance the image quality. Its 3D temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) engine is used to enhance the dynamic range of the image and reduce noise, while its 3D color engine can provide more natural and rich color performance for image output. It also supports multiple exposure modes and advanced auto white balance algorithms for enhancing image quality.
