The MTCDT-LEU1-247A-STARTERKIT-868 is a development kit designed to evaluate and develop applications using the sub-GHz ISM band, as well as other radio frequency (RF) systems. It is designed to allow users to create, test, and calibrate RF systems quickly and easily. The kit is based on the MTCDT-LEU1 radio transceiver and provides the necessary tools for the development of a wide variety of applications including smart metering, security systems, energy management, medical and industrial monitoring systems, as well as many other applications in the areas of telecommunications, home and building automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT).The MTCDT-LEU1-247A-STARTERKIT-868 kit includes a radio campaign tester, a USB-to-serial user interface, and a variety of development boards, tools, and accessories. The radio campaign tester provides an easy-to-use means for programing, testing, and troubleshooting RF systems. The USB-to-serial user interface allows users to interface the radio transceiver and PC to develop new RF applications.The development boards included in the kit are the MTCDT-LEU1-247A-STK-868 radio transceiver evaluation board, the MTCDT-LEU1-247B-TRX-868 radio transceiver loader board, and the MTCDT-LEU1-247C-TRX-868 radio transceiver development board. The evaluation board is a full-featured plug-and-play board that allows users to evaluate the MTCDT-LEU1 radio transceiver with its integrated baseband processor. The transceiver loader board provides an easy-to-use environment for programming and transferring the transceiver’s firmware image. The transceiver development board is a compact development platform with HDMI/USB ports, an Ethernet port, a CAN bus port, and an 868MHz antenna port. It is designed to help developers create their own applications based on the MTCDT-LEU1 radio transceiver.The working principle of the MTCDT-LEU1-247A-STARTERKIT-868 evaluation kit is based on the direct modulation and demodulation of the radio frequency (RF) signal with the use of the MTCDT-LEU1 radio transceiver. The transceiver contains a baseband processor that performs direct modulation and demodulation of the RF signal.
