MTCH101T-I/OT is a multi-functional capacitative touch panel produced by Holo Audio Technology Co., Ltd., specialized in providing capacitative touch products. It is a capacitated interface device, integrating sensing and sensing control in one. Working Principle of MTCH101T-I/OT
MTCH101T-I/OT mainly uses capacitance touch sensing technology. In this way, when touch panel is touched by finger or any other objects, the capacitance will change due to the change of the dielectric medium between the two electrodes. This kind of capacitance changes can be detected by the controller, and when the controller detects the touch of the finger it will then response to the command which has been set before.
The structure of the MTCH101T-I/OT consists of three layers, the top layer is the protective layer, the middle layer is the capacitive touch sensor, and the bottom layer is the connection layer. The capacitive touch sensor is composed of two metal layers separated by insulation material, the top metal layer is the sensing electrode and the bottom metal layer is the ground electrode. When touching the touch panel, the capacitance between the two metal layers will change and the controller will detect it. When the capacitance changes reach a certain range, the controller will then make a corresponding control action according to the command.
In addition to the excellent performance of touch sensing, MTCH101T-I/OT can also provide multiple levels of detection. When the finger contact point changes with the change of the touch position, the accuracy of the detection will also be improved. This can avoid wrong touch and ensure the safety of the operation.
