The MV6300A is a dynamic LED Indication - Discrete indicator which is mainly used in consumer, industrial, transportation and medical applications to provide visual feedback to users. The indicator is also used in process control, automotive applications and consumer electronics. It is an inexpensive, reliable, and easy to use device that provides an accurate indication of process or application status with an illuminated colored visor.

The MV6300A consists of multiple layers. The main layer consists of a rectangular polycarbonate housing with a single luminous visor. The total area of the housing is approximately 33x23x5mm and it is available in black or white colors. Within the polycarbonate housing is a 0.9mm thick circuit board containing a 3V2A DC power source, a power regulator, and an LED. The power source, regulator and LED are all connected to a single common ground and are mounted to the circuit board using strong adhesive.

The power from the power source trains the regulator. The regulator is designed to reduce the electrical output from the power source to a voltage level that is suitable for the LED. The LED is connected to the regulator via two metal tabs and is mounted to the circuit board using a small soldered metal bonded resistor. The LED glows when it is energized by the power source and current passing through the resistor.

When the LED is energized it emits a consistent light which is visible to anyone in the surrounding area. The LED also emits a series of colored and flashing lights while activating or deactivating a user interface or system. The user may activate the LED manually or with their voice. Besides, the user can also connect the LED to a computer or a smartphone to program or modify the operation.
