The working principle of the MW6HP-18P RF Relay is based on the MEMS actuator which is used to move the RF contacts relative to a reference surface. The MEMS actuator is driven by an externally applied voltage which changes the contact position. When the control voltage is applied, the actuator will move the contact to the target position.
The MW6HP-18P RF Relay is controlled by a simple high-speed voltage pulse. The pulse is applied to the control pin of the relay. Depending on the applied voltage, the contact will move towards either Path A (low) or Path B (high).
