Working Principle
The maximum output current of the MX7628KP+ DAC is 200 mA, and the output voltage is accurately manipulated by programming the output values on the 8 bits of voltage control, thus we get up to 256 exact voltage levels (ranging from 0 to 255), and thus, the output voltage could be accurately regulated when operating on the resolution of 1 milli-volt, thus, it is easy to turn a discrete digital signal into an analog output voltage. The output voltage is controlled by the 8 bits of voltage control. After programming the output values, these 8 bits of voltage control are combined and send to Input Port 1(AI1) to form a digital code for the DAC to convert. When send, the voltage level stored on this Input Port 1(AI1) will be sent to a digital interface which is a digital circuit block within the DAC that converts digital computer signals into analog voltage output. This is how the MX7628KP+ DAC operates.
