The MXLSMCGLCE18AE3 is a multi­channel TVS diode array that provides protection against electrostatic discharge, inductive transients, and other sources of overvoltage on the various high­speed/high­frequency data and power lines of electronic systems. It acts as both a surge protector and a filter to prevent interference on data and power lines, allowing them to work correctly even in harsh electrical environments. In addition, it features very low capacitance, low clamping voltage, and high surge capability, making it highly reliable for industrial, automotive, and consumer applications.
By placing TVS diodes on the output of an RF-sensitive device, the diodes will reduce the magnitude and duration of transient electric fields that couple into the system from outside sources such as cellular phones and other portable electronic devices.
