Application Field

Working Principle

The MXLSMLG33CAE3 diode is constructed of a pair of silicon PN junction diodes that are connected back to back, as shown in the image below. This structure allows DC current to be blocked while allowing AC current to be conducted. When there is a distant lightning strike or a power surge on a line, the MXLSMLG33CAE3 diode acts as a security guard to the equipment.
