MXRT 100KP70CA is a diode in the Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) family. It is commonly used in telecom and computing applications to protect against damaging Glitches, ESD, and EFT. An avalanche diode creates a potential barrier in the Zener region and clamps the voltage by sinking the excess current from the reverse direction. An avalanche device is normally a PN junction, positioned to curve the voltage coordinate during an electrostatic discharge.
