Working Principle

The MY4Z-D DC24 utilizes electromagnetic switching principle to perform switching actions. When energized, a electromagnet is created, which pulls the armature to close the contacts. As soon as the voltage drops below the pick-up level, the electromagnet loses its power and the armature is biased back to open the contact.

The MY4Z-D DC24 is a one-piece magnetic latching type relay, which can be used in DC control circuits where it is necessary for the relay to maintain it’s state with no power applied. When energized, the relay contacts stay in switched age until it is de-energized.

Moreover, the MY4Z-D DC24 also features an impendence sensitive double gap structure with ultra-low contact resistance. Its contact material is gold plated copper which can effectively reduce contact resistance and increase life time. The MY4Z-D DC24 also has 30A switching current rating and 17A carry current rating.
