The sensor is manufactured by Mahle Electronic (formerly Somas) and is used in a variety of industrial applications.The MZT8-03VPS-KUB is a combination sensor, with both an angle measurement and a linear displacement measurement in one unit. The sensor is available in either a standard or a mini-frame version. The standard size version is suitable for operating temperatures up to 175℃ and the mini-frame version is rated for operating temperatures up to 135℃.The angle measurement module is based on a magnetoresistive technology, with a high-resolution angular measurement over a wide detection range of 0 to 360°. The linear measurement module is based on a potentiometer technology, with a measurement range of 0 to 100 mm and a resolution of 0.1 mm. Both modules can be connected to the same output signal via a single connection.The MZT8-03VPS-KUB has a flexible output option – It can provide either analog or digital (PWM) signal outputs. The analog output is available in either a 0 to 10V or +/- 10V form, and the PWM output can be adjusted to different frequency and pulse width specifications as needed.
