The signal from the device connected to the input/output port is first transmitted to the main board, where the signal is converted into nano fiber optical signal by Electro-Optical conversion. Then the nano fiber optical signal is transmitted to the nano fiber transceiver board. The nano fiber transceiver board will convert the optical signal back to electrical signal and output it. This is how the data signals are transmitted.The second part is the transmission of audio and video signals. The nano fiber transceiver board is connected with the main board and the HDMI port. The signal coming from the device connected with the HDMI port is first transmitted to the main board. Then the signal is converted into optical signal and sent to the nano fiber transceiver board. The nano fiber transceiver board will convert this optical signal into electrical signal and output it. This is how the audio and video signals are transmitted.
