NAU8822L-DEMO is a 3-intelligent multi-channel input/output amplifier evaluation board, which can be used to evaluate the various functions of TI NAU8822L audio DSP. The NAU8822L-DEMO includes digital support-pin, vocal-channel 4 real differential-end support-pin input, on both ends of which a stereo output is available. It continues to enhance smart speaker design with simple solutions. NAU8822L-DEMO can be used to evaluate the various functions of TI NAU8822L audio DSP,including microphone pre-amplifiers, AOP amplifiers, fixed output stages, loopback and test circuits for headset detection.

As a member of “TI smart audio”, NAU8822L-DEMO provides 45 mW/ch at maximum,90 mW/ch at 10 KHz, Class D / AB switching audio AOP amplifier output with protection features.The device supports six input settings, including single microphone, differential, double differential and single ended input. As far as the amplifier type is concerned, the board can provide Class D and Class AB type amplifier,also can provide mute, anti-pop and 140dB THD+N features. All the above functions can be realized with just a few external components, which achieves a very simple system design.

The working mechanism of NAU8822L- DEMO is based on the principle of intelligent adaptive output. The quad microphone input can enable more complex noise cancellation, beam-formation, and other signal processing functions.As a result, users can easily implement sound enhancement algorithms such as acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), beamforming, and sound emission control.Besides, the board comes with a digital interface whichhas an integrated 22-bit sigma delta ADC and a 24-bit sigma delta DAC. This block enables support for different sampling rates from 8 kHz up to 192 kHz. This range can be extended to up to 384 kHz by using the 1x, 2x, or 4x sample rate converters.
