PMIC, or Power Management Integrated Circuit, is an electronic device capable of regulating and managing power for electronic devices. The NB669GQ-P is a linear and switching voltage regulator that functions as a PMIC. This sampled voltage is fed to one of the inputs of the error amplifier and compared to the reference voltage.

Switching regulators, on the other hand, use a control circuit to power a switching element, either a transistor, a MOSFET, or an Integrated Circuit. This control circuit consists of an error amplifier, which compares the output voltage to a reference voltage and modulates the switch\'s on-off cycle in response to this difference. When the switch is on, a large current is supplied to an inductor, which stores energy. This energy is released to the load when the switch is turned off.

The NB669GQ-P has been specifically designed to offer a multiple power supply management and features a high EMI immunity, in addition to its low power consumption.
