NC7WZ125L8X is a high speed, low power logic buffer, which is designed for the purpose of conveying the logic signals with high speed and low power consumption. It is capable of providing the logic signals at the speed of more than 75MHz in various conditions. This logic buffer is used in the application field of high speed data acquisition, high speed digital communications and high speed memory access, and other string of special applications.Working PrincipleNC7WZ125L8X uses CMOS technology as a main platform and working principle for power consumption. This technology helps the device to reduce the power consumption to a minimum level. Moreover, this logic buffer provides a high degree of flexibility in controlling the logic signals, presenting users multiple options to set threshold level of the logic signals. The two logic levels, i.e. Low voltage output and High voltage output can be selected between 2.4V to 3.6V.The main purpose of this device is to buffer the logic signals from a input to output. This device is operated using a single voltage supply and within the range of 1.65V and 3.6V. The internal schematic of this logic buffer includes an buffer level shifter to provide the logical level shifting mechanism. This internal buffer level shifter changes the logic stages according to the voltage requirements of the outputs.Moreover, the internal architecture of the NC7WZ125L8X includes digital logic gates in the form of AND & OR gates, which further aids the conversion of the higher voltage levels to the lower voltage levels. In addition to this, the digital logic gates also allows the user to control the operations of the logic buffer and to switch between the high and low voltage output levels.The external pin configuration of the NC7WZ125L8X is designed in order to aid its operation. Firstly, the device consists of an control pin which helps the user to control the logic buffer operations—enabling and disabling of the logic stages. Secondly, the output and input pins are connected to the logic buffer. The output pins provide the logic signals depending on the state of the input pins. Moreover, the pull up and down resistors are also connected to the output pins, which further helps in the operation of the logic buffer.
