The NCP1075NONGEVB evaluation board is a type of DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS which is designed to evaluate the features of the NCP1075N Off-line Resonant Controller. This evaluation board allows users to evaluate the product features of the NCP1075N without having to design their own board.
The NCP1075NONGEVB evaluation board is based on a full bridge LLC converter with valley current control. This makes the board suitable for topologies such as Flyback, Forward and Bridge Rectifier. This type of topology allows for a high efficiency design and low component count.
The NCP1075N controller features an integrated high voltage driver, designed to drive a 600V reverse blocking MOSFET. The NCP1075N controller also features a wide range of features such as the ability to operate in either Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM)or Continous Conduction Mode (CCM), valley current mode control, programmable valley current limit, programmable soft start, over-current protection and short-circuit protection.
The NCP1075NONGEVB evaluation board is supplied as a ready-to-use system with a full range of components including the NCP1075N controller, MOSFETs, filter inductor, power supply, heatsink and all necessary external components. The board also includes a USB port which can be used to interface with the NCP1075N controller, allowing users to set the parameters of the device via PC software.
The NCP1075NONGEVB board is capable of delivering up to 25W of power with an efficiency of up to 95%.
