The NCP451FCT2GEVB Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits are a kit designed to help engineers to develop and test system designs that utilize high-voltage integrated circuits. The NCP451FCT2GEVB Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit is designed around the NCP451FGCT2G/TG devices, which are low-side and high-side MOSFET drivers with precision level-shift capability. These devices are inherently capable of driving loads up to 11A/7.5A and feature integrated fault protection and EMI suppression functions. The NCP451FCT2GEVB Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit allows engineers to easily evaluate the performance of these NCP451FGCT2G/TG devices in high-voltage applications. In addition, the NCP451FCT2GEVB kit can provide engineers with insight into the power supply efficiency when using these devices.
The NCP451FCT2GEVB Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit consists of two boards connected via an SMBus link. This link allows the boards to communicate, enabling engineers to evaluate how the NCP451FGCT2G/TG devices react to load sharing applications such as those found in high-power DSPs or microcontrollers. The two boards also feature adjustable voltage levels and a BOOST/SYNC switch which allows engineers to set the level-shift for the maximum range of the NCP451FGCT2G/TG devices. In addition, the boards feature an onboard regulator circuit which can be adjusted to provide a range of output voltages.
The NCP451FCT2GEVB Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit also comes with software in the form of a graphical user interface (GUI). This GUI allows engineers to quickly adjust the settings of the boards in order to test different scenarios and stress tests. Engineers can also view the operating characteristics of the NCP451FGCT2G/TG in a visual format and record the data for later analysis.
