NCP6335EMT30TBG is a low-voltage, high-current, external switching regulator and is part of the PMIC – Voltage Regulators – DC DC Switching Regulators family. It is typically used in a variety of high power applications, such as portable battery powered equipment, DSL and cable modems, charging systems, and low power mobile device designs.
The NCP6335EMT30TBG makes use of an advanced die level power delivery design that integrates a robust and efficient step-down switcher and a wide voltage range, low resistance FET switch. This design provides high-efficiency and excellent protection against over-voltage, current and temperature. The NCP6335EMT30TBG also features an integrated flex die-level high side N-Channel MOSFET, a low-side N-Channel MOSFET for improved reliability, and support for both fixed frequency and variable frequency Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) operation.
The NCP6335EMT30TBG can operate from a wide input voltage range of 3.3 V to 12 V and provides an output voltage that is adjustable from 0.8 V to 6 V. It has a peak current delivery of up to 15 A and an up to 600 mA load current. The step-down switcher also provides an output current of up to 5 A and supports an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 14 V.
The NCP6335EMT30TBG is designed with a high-efficiency over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection capability. The NCP6335EMT30TBG also features an adjustable phase-shift control and frequency foldback, adjustable slope compensation, adjustable current limit and an adjustable minimum on-time.
