NCP6925AFCT2G is an integrated power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed by ON Semiconductor. It is part of the Linear + Switching Voltage Regulator series, providing solutions for a host of consumer, communications, and industrial applications. The device combines a low-dropout linear regulator and a high-efficiency switching regulator, enabling it to regulate both DC and AC power lines.

It consists of an inductor, connected to an input voltage source, and a schottky diode to ensure load current flows in the proper direction. The NCP6925AFCT2G will regulate waste energy into usable power by the Inductor passing electric current through the inductor in one direction, thus generating a magnetic field around the inductor. The amount of energy is then regulated by changing the resistance in the circuit with a switch, so that the energy is released in the opposite direction.
