The NCS36000GEVB is powered by a single Cortex-M4/M0 on-chip processor from the Nuvoton CORTEX-M4/M0 family that enables system designers to quickly develop applications to meet their needs. The evaluation board contains all the necessary peripherals required for a complete system, and also provides several connectivity options such as USB, I2C, SPI, UART and CAN.
The Cortex-M4/M0 processor communicates with the rest of the system through a 2-pin system bus. The evaluation board is equipped with a 4-layer PCB to provide a good layer-to-layer connection and EMLR for preventing ESD damages to the system. It also helps in reducing the load on other parts of the board.The Cortex-M4/M0 processor on the board is an 8-bit RISC microcontroller with Integrated Memory Management Unit (MMU) and Floating Point Unit (FPU). It is the first chip in the Nuvoton Cortex-M4/M0 processor family that supports both simultaneous and high-speed data processing with integrated DMA controller and real-time clock.
