NCT5104D Application Field and Working Principle

The NCT5104D is an interface-specialized chip designed for digital-analog-and-mixed signal applications requiring wide coverage. This chip is most generally utilized for controller lane link (CLK), electrical to optical transducer (E2O), and power line interface communication (PLI) applications. In regards to functionality, the NCT5104D boasts both a distortion-compensated gain-mode input and a programmable attenuator, both of which supply reliable digital communications. The distortion-compensated gain-mode input is built to provide stable operation, and can easily be programmed to meet a device’s specific needs. The programmable attenuator allows for a device to digitally adjust the sensitivity of its microphone or rearview camera, and adjusts the volume of sound or video that reaches the receiver accordingly.
