NCV7471A is a high-speed, high-precision, high-efficiency and low-voltage low-current quasi-earth-fault differential receiver that belongs to the interface - drivers, receivers, and transceivers family. The chip is built on n-channel vertical DMOS technology with a high-impedance power input structure and low-loss CMOS output structure. It features ultra-low power consumption of only 19.5nA, very short propagation delay of only 5ns, and excellent input-photodiode characteristics.The NCV7471A receives low-voltage differential input signals and converts them into low-voltage differential outputs. A quasi-earth-fault differential receiver (QEFDR) is used in applications where the ground potential of two separated circuits must be connected without breaking any other circuit.The working principle of the NCV7471A is based on the use of two high-impedance power inputs to convert a low-voltage differential input signal into a low-voltage differential output. The high-impedance power inputs are connected to a common-mode feedback circuit, which drives two active outputs. When the two input signals are equal, the common-mode feedback circuit drives the two outputs to the same level, thus providing the low-voltage differential output.The NCV7471A is an ideal choice for applications which require a low-voltage differential output with very fast response and excellent input-photodiode characteristics. It is commonly used in the fields of telecommunications, medical imaging, automotive electronics, aerospace and many other fields.
