The NCV97311MW50GEVB Evaluation Board is an off-line switch-mode power supply (SMPS) designed for high power applications that require a high level of efficiency and robustness. This evaluation board is targeted to evaluate the performance of the NCP1703 high power switch-mode power supply controller from ON Semiconductor. The board is an ideal solution for driving inductive loads such as solenoids, relays, motors, and electro-mechanical transducers. It can also be used for a wide range of other applications.The NCV97311MW50GEVB Evaluation Board is designed to accept input voltages from AC/DC or DC/DC sources, enabling it to be used as a stand-alone SMPS, or it can be connected to a DC/DC converter, allowing the board to be integrated as part of a larger uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The board supports input voltages up to 18V and is capable of delivering up to 25A of constant current. It can effectively handle power requirements up to 1000W, 12 A. The board is highly efficient, with an average efficiency over 85% even when used with AC mains input.The NCV97311MW50GEVB Evaluation Board is based around the NCP1703, a high power SMPS controller from ON Semiconductor.
