The NDL0512SC DC DC Converter is a high-performance point-of-load (POL) power supply module capable of providing single or multiple supply rails from a single input supply. It is designed to provide superior power conversion in telecom and datacom applications up to 12A. This versatile module is available in step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) topologies.
The NDL0512SC contains an input diode, inductor, output capacitor, as well as a control IC. It offers best-in-class power density and high efficiency up to 94%. Its wide 4:1 input voltage range, 6V to 24V, and regulated output voltage, 1.2V to 12V, make it suitable for various types of telecom and datacom applications. Its high ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) ceramic capacitors help in ensuring output stability over temperature and line/load transients.
The NDL0512SC offers multiple current sharing pins for parallel operation. The optional current sharing feature allows for up to 20-phase paralleling for applications where higher current requirement is needed. It also has built-in soft-start, current limit, and hiccup mode protection features.
The NDL0512SC module is optimized to provide excellent dynamic load/line transient response. Its RoHS compliant package provides integrated mounting solutions.
