DC-DC converters are a type of device used to convert a DC input voltage into a different output voltage. In addition to the AVP control, the NDL4812SC also features a jump start protection (JSP) circuit. This circuit is designed to prevent the power converter from startup failure when the input voltage is lower than the output voltage. The JSP circuit monitors the voltage on the power supply output and shuts down the power converter if it detects a potential startup failure. The NDL4812SC also has built-in over-temperature, short circuit and over-current protection to ensure safe operation.
