1. Description
The NEO-M8L-03A-12 3D car dead reckoning (ADR) module is designed for the latest interactive navigation, telematics and vehicle-to-all (V2X) applications. This module combines GNSS, vehicle-mounted inertial sensing and speed information from the vehicle to provide continuous and accurate 3D positioning. The performance of u-blox's ADR products benefits from the experience of demanding and most suitable passenger car applications, the latest multi-axis sensor technology and the advancement of u blox's GNSS and navigation technology, especially in urban environments. Obtained support from u-blox's automotive-grade manufacturing and support. NEO-M8L-06B provides an ideal solution that focuses on reliability and navigation performance. NEO-M8L-06B can be installed in any location and includes many other features to help ensure error-free and flexible installation. These features include automatic configuration of vehicle speed or wheel signal input, which can be used as a hardware signal or transmitted via a message from the vehicle's CAN bus. The intelligent combination of GNSS and sensor measurements can be used at rates up to 30 Hz. Accessing native high rate sensor data also allows the host application to make full use of the receiver’s assets. NEO-M8L-06B supports receiving Galileo, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and QZSS. This module provides high sensitivity and fast GNSS signal acquisition and tracking functions. The standard u-blox NEO form factor makes the design flexible and can be easily replaced with other NEO modules, including u-blox NEO-M8U Unrestricted Dead Reckoning (UDR) products. UART, USB, DDC (compliant with I2C specifications) and SPI interface options provide flexible connectivity and can be easily integrated with most u-blox cellular modules. The NEO-M8L-06B module uses a GNSS chip that meets the requirements of AEC‑Q100. The modules are manufactured in ISO/TS 16949 certified sites and fully tested at the system level. Qualification tests are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the ISO 16750 standard "Road vehicles-Environmental conditions and testing of electrical and electronic equipment". This automotive-grade product meets the quality specifications and production processes of the automotive industry standard. u-blox's AssistNow service can provide auxiliary information, such as ephemeris, almanac and time, which greatly shortens the first repair time and improves collection sensitivity. The AssistNow data with u-blox M8 module supports GPS, Beidou and GLONASS constellations, which can acquire data faster than GPS-only assist functions. The validity period of AssistNow Offline data (up to 35 days) and AssistNow Autonomous data (up to 6 days) has been extended, which has the benefit of a longer collection time since the last use.
