<h2>NHB00B Fuseholders</h2><p>NHB00B fuseholders, also known as standard size fuse holders, are designed for specific use with fuse type IEC-NH00. It is used with fuses that are 40 mm by 6.3 mm or 50 mm by 6.3 mm. The NHB00B fuseholder is an economical, dependable and safe for achieving reliable fuse protection.</p><h3>Application Field</h3><p>NHB00B fuseholders are used in several applications such as domestic and industrial switchgear and controlgear, motor protection, lighting and general circuit protection, AC or DC operations, back-up systems and instrumentation. In domestic applications, they are typically used in the protection of circuits of a low voltage switchboard used in buildings, for distribution boards and final circuits. The fuseholder is used for mounting cartridges fuses used to protect wiring and other valuable components.</p><h3>Working Principle</h3><p>NHB00B fuseholders mount the fuse in two spring steel clips. When the fuse is inserted into the fuseholder, the spring steel clips compress, which allow for better contact between the fuse and the terminals of the fuseholder. This ensures an efficient current distribution during the operation of the fuse.</p><p>When the fuse trips, that is, when too much current passes through the fuse and it reaches its maximum capacity, the heat creates a connection between two bolts on the fuse. This will cause the fuse to melt, creating an air gap thus breaking the current flow and thus protecting the appliances, wires and plugs connected to it.</p><p>NHB00B fuseholders are designed to protect against common over-currents, short-circuits and earth leakage, thus protecting from fire and other damages that a faulty fuse may have caused.</p>
