There are two basic types of this device, P-Channel Power Distribution Switch (PDDS) and Load Driver (LDDS). The PDDS has two driven outputs that can control the load, while the LDDS has one driven output and can be used to drive an arbitrary number of loads.The NID5004NT4G works in two distinct modes, the first being a Synchronous Rectified DC (SRDC) mode and the second being a Synchronous Bridge Rectification (SBR) mode. In SRDC mode, the power distributions are not synchronized with the input signals and the on and off switching of the load is based on the current flowing through the load and the voltage across the load limit. In SBR mode, the power distributions are synchronized with the incoming signals and the on and off switching of the load is based on the amount of time and current travelling through the switch.The NID5004NT4G is designed to handle medium to high voltage input signals and power distributions up to 500 mA with a high level of efficiency and reliability.
