NJM2059D Application Field and Working Principle

NJM2059D is a dual low-noise JFET-input Operational Amplifier (Op-Amp) typically used in linear applications such as instrumentation, high-impedance input buffering, high-speed signal processing and filtering, and high-precision AC/DC dynamic measurements.

Principle of Operation

NJM2059D is based on a classical two-stage operational amplifier topology, with a single-pole, two-position differential amplifier on the input and a cascode slew-rate controlled amplifier on the output. The input stage is a JFET differential input stage capable of providing low offset voltage, low voltage noise and an input impedance of greater than 1012 ohms. The options for supply voltage range from ±5V up to ±15V.
