NJU7211L30 is a linear voltage regulator from the PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear family. It is a single-channel, low consumption voltage regulator especially suited for battery operated high efficiency applications.

Its application fields includes a wide variety of power line conditioning, power supplies, voltage regulation, and protective functions in applications such as digital cameras, mobile phones and LCD TV sets, anything with a need for a low-noise power supply line.

Depending on the nature of the control signal, the gate of the MOSFET is opened to allow a greater current flow into the output or closed to reduce the current flow. In this way, the output voltage remains relatively constant even when the input voltage changes.
