Application Field</h3><p>NJW1504V-TE1 is a 4-output high frequency clock generator, suitable for high-speed transmission interface and broadband communication system application, such as 10GBASE-T PHYs and Switch/Router applications. It supports 2 independent reference inputs and DC input combination, and is also maintain one to one frequency band of the 1:1:1 or 1:2:2. At the same time, it can generate up to four standard-based output frequencies, two 10MHz reference / spread spectrum modulation clocks, and programmable frequency auto synchronization is supported.</p><p>The features of NJW1504V-TE1 can meet the different needs of different devices. In addition, the device operates over -20°C to +85°C ambient temperature, and the maximum power consumption is less than 250mW, which can provide users with a high power security and reliability.</p><h3>2. Working Principle</h3><p>NJW1504V-TE1 is based on the traditional PLL structure. The PLL structure consists of a phase frequency detector, a programmable loop filter, a voltage control oscillator, and a frequency divider. The VCO output is passed through the frequency divider. The output of the frequency divider is input to the phase frequency detector. The output of the phase frequency detector is connected to the loop filter. When the output of the frequency divider is different from the reference clock, a difference signal is generated, and the difference signal is converted into a corresponding voltage output value. The voltage output value is used as the control voltage of the VCO to realize the locking of the internal frequency to the reference frequency.</p><p>In order to realize the frequency synchronization of multiple devices, NJW1504V-TE1 adopts clock auto sync function. This is an independent control system. When there is an input reference clock, the output frequency will be locked to the synchronization device.
