NK8FIG application field and working principleThe NK8FIG series provides a low cost terrestrial solution for an external security power system. It is designed for high performance and efficiency to meet the demanding requirements for power supplies that meet the requirements of the most demanding security applications.NK8FIG works with eight system power inputs, four poles when used in the presence of external power emergency power supplies, and four analog input channels, providing a total of 48 inputs to the system. The product comes with safety features, such as over insulation, short circuit protection, and temperature alarm functions. The NK8FIG is designed for industrial and commercial applications. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications where the current applied is within the range of three to twenty amp levels, and up to seven hundred volts. The NK8FIG has an operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to +70 degree Celsius.The NK8FIG is composed of many components. It includes a transformer, electronic protection devices, a connector socket, and a starter contactor. The transformer is responsible to convert the voltage input to the proper voltage out put. The electronics circuitry takes care of over current and short circuit protection. The connector socket receives the input from the power source. The starter contactor acts as a switch, and consists of a dielectric material, normally the polyethylene material, between the contacts.
