NL-SIM-ATT Application Field and Working PrincipleNL-SIM-ATT, or Non-Linear Simulated Attenuator, is an indispensable component of radio frequency (RF) accessories, providing essential adjustment of signals in systems. It is primarily used in RF test and measurement systems, or automatic test equipment (ATE) to precisely measure amplitude and power in order to calibrate communication devices. Furthermore, its versatile nature allows it to be used in radar systems, fixed radio and broadcast systems, cellular networks, avionics systems, satellite communication systems and other wireless transmission forms. NL-SIM-ATT works on the principle of providing a precise and repeatable attenuation of a signal\'s amplitude. So when a signal is input to one port, an attenuated signal appears on the other port.
