The NRD24V1 is a comprehensive Radio Frequency (RF) evaluation and developmental kit, board, composed of several essential elements necessary for thorough evaluation and development of modern day RF systems. This solution focuses on advanced wireless communication scenarios such as 802.11, DBPSK, QPSK and EVM. The NRD24V1 board has been designed to enable speedy development and evaluation of RF systems with its tailored products for key tasks and interoperability with existing communication steps.
The NRD24V1 board offers an extensive range of applications, making it suitable for different scenarios and communication types and at the same time adding flexibility to its use. The applications available include, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, FM and GSM. It also includes a comprehensive collection of digital, analog and RF test tools, allowing users to perform wideband development and characterization. It includes sophisticated applications such as being able to perform up to 10MHz DDR3 connectivity, perform wideband data acquisition for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE designs, and being able to evaluate complex DBPSK, QPSK and EVM modulation. Furthermore, the NRD24V1 board also provides seamless integration to existing communication systems, allowing for extensive device characterization of current wireless applications.
The working principle of the NRD24V1 board involves several stages, beginning with initial device setup and system evaluation. This includes configuring key parameters and as the board is tailored for such full scale system evaluation this includes device selection, parameter selection and signal source characterization. It also includes features for setting and opening of test channels, setting of transmitting and receiving rates and setting of communication parameter such as bit rate etc.
The NRD24V1 board then takes the selected parameters and tests the communication system. This stage consists running an in-depth analysis to gain experience on the characteristics of the unit being tested and obtain precise results from the system.
