NV787630R1DAGEVB Evaluation Boards - LED Drivers are designed for accurate, high-speed current and voltage regulation and sensing for applications in general lighting and industrial automation. NV787630R1DAGEVB combines the fast turn-on characteristics of a linear driver with the high efficiency of a DC/DC buck converter, resulting in a product that can be used in a wide variety of applications.
NV787630R1DAGEVB has an integrated power management, conversion and LED control circuitry which provides high-precision, low-noise, isolated current and voltage control for LED illumination applications. It includes an overcurrent protection circuitry and a wide range of external components which makes it suitable for use in applications requiring high accuracy and reliability. It also features a power factor correction circuit to enhance efficiency. The NV787630R1DAGEVB supports a wide range of LED illumination devices, including high-power LED, conventional LED and integrated LED chips.
The NV787630R1DAGEVB evaluation board contains an integrated LED driver and LED string driver, both of which are isolated from the main processor. The LED driver provides linear current regulation in order to produce accurate color temperature in LED-based lighting. The LED string driver provides high efficiency PWM dimming with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. Both drivers feature an enable/disable control for power saving and enable/disable indicator for easy debugging.
