The device is designed to be used in galvanic isolation, to prevent noise and the potential for cross-polarity damage to the circuitry and laser diodes. The maximum pulse peak current output is 2A, with an adjustable minimum pulse-width of 5ns up to a maximum of 500ns. The average laser current can be adjusted via a variable external voltage source between 0.1 and 5V and a maximum average current of 1.2A. The board also supports variable temperature control and protection via a programmable warning level, shutdown level, and overtemperature maximum limit.The ONET1101LRGET is an ideal solution for a variety of laser driver applications.
