Working Principle of OPA2322AID

The OPA2322AID is a precision, rail-to-rail instrumentation amplifier. It consists of two independent amplifiers with a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 80 dB and close to zero offset voltage. The OPA2322AID uses an internal gain of 101 to improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and distortion performance. The input signal is buffered, attenuated and then split by the amplifier’s internal differential amplifier, which provides a differential output.

The differential output is amplified and then re-combined in the OPA2322AID’s second gain stage in order to produce a single-ended output signal. The output of the amplifier is then buffered by a unity gain buffer and protected by an adjustable voltage clamp, which will protect the output from high voltage transients. The OPA2322AID also features an internal temperature compensation to reduce the effects of temperature variation.
