.OPA627BP Application Field and Working Principle
The OPA627BP is an ultra-high precision, low noise, instrumentation amplifier from OP Amps, Buffer Amps and Linear-Amplifiers-Instrumentation category. It is a precision monolithic dual Operational Amplifier with the very low noise and temperaturecoefficient drift. It has SMD or optional Surface Mount Package type, with 0V to 36V wide range supply voltage and quiescent current of 12mA. The OPA627BP provides 4V/μs slew rate, -17dB typical CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio). It also offers excellent ac and dc characteristics as well as a rail-to-rail input/output is also available.
The OPA627BP is a JFET input Operational Amplifier used as instrumentation amplifier. It has a wide range of industrial application such motor control, precision instrumentation measurements, professional audio, industrial machine control, robotics, fiber communication systems, automotive applications, AC and DC servo control, high speed logic buses, switched mode power supplies and industrial transport systems. It is used for wide range of precision projects such as high performance audio amplifier, monitor speaker amplifiers, automated test sets and analytical instrumentation.In instrumentation amplifiers, the OPA627BP is used to provide high accuracy, low noise and stable DC performance. It provides a low gain drift, a low noise level over temperature and a higher accuracy over the full temperature range. Its high linearity, low temperature drift and low output offset with temperature make it suitable for use in high precision instruments.The OPA627BP offers great versatility with zero drift and excellent basic CMRR characteristics. It provides wide bandwidth (from DC to 5MHz) and can be single- or dual-supplied. The OPA627BP can be used in two general modes: as an inverting amplifier or a non-inverting amplifier.In an inverting amplifier configuration, a voltage is applied to the inverting (–) input through a closed loop network, while the non-inverting input (+) is grounded. The amplifier will output the opposite (or negative) value of the input voltage. The gain of the amplifier can be adjusted either by adjusting the resistance at the inverting input (R1) or the resistor at the output (R2).In a non-inverting amplifier configuration, a voltage is applied to the non-inverting (non-inverting) input of the OPA627BP, while the inverting (–) input is grounded. The output of the amplifier will be equal to the input but with gain setting adjustable through the values of R1 and R2.The versatile OPA627BP is a dual, high precision low noise monolithic Operational Amplifier designed for use in both single and dual supply instrumentation amplifier and high frequency applications. The OPA627BP has excellent basic characteristics and wide bandwith. It provides excellent common mode rejection ratio while the unity gain drift and low noise and temperature coefficient make it very suitable for high precision measurements. It has wide range of application and can be used in inverting and non-inverting amplifier configurations.
