OPA656UG4 is an ultra-low distortion, low power, dual JFET input operational amplifier designed for audio and general signal conditioning applications. This amplifier can provide an excellent combination of precision performance, robust construction and versatility.
The OPA656UG4 is a single-ended, dual-input amplifier that can be used as either a unity-gain buffer or a general purpose signal conditioning amplifier. The amplifier has very low THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise) of 0.0003 at 1kHz and low-noise of 3.6nV/√Hz. This makes the amplifier ideal for audio signal conditioning applications. The amplifier also offers a wide bandwidth of 10MHz, making it ideal for use in high-speed data acquisition applications. Additionally, the OPA656UG4 features a high-impedance, single-pole PNP differential input stage for optimal noise rejection, high current-drive capability, and low input offset voltage drift.
The OPA656UG4 features a wide operating supply range of ±2.25V to ±18V and maximum output voltage swing of ±18V which makes it ideal for use in portable power applications. It also offers excellent CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) over a wide frequency range and low-bias current of 2nA which make it well-suited for use in battery-operated instruments. Furthermore, the OPA656UG4 is a low power device with a maximum supply current of only 9mA.
