The OPA890IDBVT has low power consumption of 1 mW at a supply voltage of 4V and an input common mode range that extends below the negative rail by user-selected jumper.OPA890IDBVT operates as a difference amplifier, which has two inputs, labeled As and Bs and one output. An input signal is applied to a pair of inputs, often referred to as the "noninverting" and "inverting" inputs. When a voltage is applied to the noninverting input and the inverting input is grounded, the output will be equal to the input voltage times the gain of the amplifier. When the two inputs are different, then the output will be the difference between the two inputs times the gain. The gain of the OPA890IDBVT is set by two external components, R1 and R2, and can be calculated using the following equation: Gain = 1 + (R2 / R1). The OPA890IDBVT has a maximum gain of 40V/V, but the actual gain is usually much lower, usually around 10-20V/V.The OPA890IDBVT has a wide bandwidth of over 1MHz at a gain of 20V/V and a low power consumption of 1mW for a 5V supply. It also has a low input bias current of 20 nA maximum.
