The OR4E6-FPGA-EV board is an evaluation board specifically designed for Altera OR4E6 FPGA devices. It supports JTAG download and debugging, as well as Nios II on-chip non-volatile memory and power-on/power-off reset, allowing for a smooth development and debugging process.

In terms of the board working principle, the OR4E6-FPGA-EV board provides the users with two main board functions: development and debug. The development mode provides two integrated circuit chips that control the boot up sequence and reset of the board. This control system will first initialize the power system and then load the default configuration. Then it will load the application and finally reset the board when the configuration is finished. For the debug mode, the RF debug port located at the bottom of the board is used to connect to a programmer to monitor the FPGA device and program the device.
