OSOPTA5000FT1 is a type of resistor networks, arrays that offers superior performance in a wide range of application areas. The OSOPTA5000FT1 Standard Series is intended for low power applications requiring a relatively small area, while the High-Power Series is designed for higher power applications requiring a larger area for installation.The OSOPTA5000FT1 is made up of four sets of resistive elements: the common-polarity resistor sets, the series resistor sets, the parallel resistor sets and the n-terminal resistor sets. The common-polarity resistor sets are arranged in a straight-line architecture, while the series and parallel resistor sets are arranged in a crossed-line architecture. The n-terminal resistors are arranged in a star architecture and provide protection for the other systems in the device.The common-polarity resistors are configured to provide a constant current source. These resistors provide current with very little voltage drop and can operate at high levels of accuracy. They also offer a wide adjustment range to cover different voltage levels.The series resistors are arranged in a helical structure to provide higher power handling capability and increased current carrying capability. The increased current carrying capability means that the device can handle higher current levels without experiencing breakdown.The parallel resistor sets are arranged in a ladder configuration which forms a low-impedance node with a high current carrying capacity.
