The device can be programmed in increments of up to 10bits digitally and can either be read directly or through an I2C/SPI bus.

The OVM6211-RADA also features a programmable high speed output interface that supports pulsed or continuous clock-sync data format. It also supports a standard 10-bit SDR (Single Data Rate) or IEEE1394 high speed data output format. The OVM6211-RADA can also support time-of-flight applications by utilizing its external high speed counter/clock or external signal synchronization capability (HSSync).
