P0080SAMC is a thyristor developed by Shanghai Power Semiconductor Co., Ltd. It is mainly used in circuits with high operating power, high switching frequency and high power factor, such as AC/DC converters and motor drives. P0080SAMC is designed with three terminals (G, A, C), two of which (G and A) are called the main terminals and the other (C) the control terminal. This type of thyristor is well known for its fast switching speed, high voltage rating and low on-state resistance.
