The current limitation of the P0720ECLAP can be adjusted by using external resistors and capacitors.The P0720ECLAP also features inrush current limiting protection which prevents over-voltage during power-up or reset conditions. It has the ability to draw only a maximum of 10uA current during start-up. It also has a wide range of operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and its resistor load capacity is 1.5 watts which ensures stability and reliability in the circuit.The P0720ECLAP thyristor is primarily used to limit the current in electric circuits by sensing the voltage drop in the circuit. This can be used in various applications such as motor control, power supply units, lighting control, and electrolytic capacitors.
